Choosing a Postgres distribution¶
EDB Postgres Distributedは、 PostgreSQL、 EDB Postgres Extended Server、またはEDB Postgres Advanced Serverの3つの異なるPostgresディストリビューションで展開できます。特定のEDB Postgres Distributed機能を利用できるかどうかは、使用するPostgresディストリビューションによって異なります。したがって、ビジネスニーズに最適なPostgresディストリビューションを採用することが不可欠です。たとえば、「Commit At Most Once （CAMO）」機能があることがユースケースにとってミッションクリティカルである場合、オープンソースのPostgreSQLはCAMOを処理するために必要なコア機能を備えていないため、採用しないでください。
